About the artist:
"The strength of my work comes from its aesthetic delivery and the formal elements that
transmit ideas. I want to provoke questions of content from the viewer without having
to rely on a title to do the work."
Chris holds a B.A. from Western Washington State University and an MFA from the School
of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, Medford, MA.
His body of work includes painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography and Video and
has been exhibited in the U.S. and China. Chris' work is held in permanent collections
in the U.S. and Norway.
Besides ArtWorks, Chris teaches at Cascadia Community College, North Seattle Community
College, Bellevue Art Museum School, and Pratt Fine Arts Center.
