About the artist:

Kenneth Morrison began his creative journey at the tender age of 4 years. His constant preoccupation with pencils and anything flat soon made it apparent to teachers, friends and family that his destiny was to become an artist.

From the beginning, Kenneth's parents provided support through several educational venues which put his talents to the test and fostered his artistic independence. Technique and layout came together to mark the foundation of a wealth of future images and sculptures.

Over the years, while attending public school, Kenneth was well managed by artistic mentors. At the age of 17, he began his own "Art de Tour", traveling to New York, England, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden and France. After returning to Seattle for his final years of high school, Kenneth began a career as a professional artist.

In addition to his art, he is also passionate about his work with young as well as challenged children, and he enthusiastically gives back to the local communities in this way.

Creative artworks by Kenneth are reflective of his extensive travels abroad and a desire to reach beyond the limits. Possessing a remarkable talent, Kenneth creates in a myriad of media. His work including such diverse subject matter as the stark realism of wildlife, whimsical fantasies, and the continual exploration of the human experience, is strongly influenced by his Celtic heritage.

His latest gothic genre, in graphite, sepia and ink is a seemingly never ending layer of countless figures; a true labyrinth of life with visual balance to captivate the viewer.
