Never held a brush? No problem. Motivation and love of watercolor
are the most important requirements. Learn in a supportive and positive environment.

Finding Your Voice in Oil
|
| |
Learn the principles of mixing color, setting up a palette, paint application, composition and value. Discover the steps it takes to get from blank canvas to finished piece with a focus on still life painting as well as portraiture working from good photos. This is an on-going class offered month-by-month during the school year (September-May).
*Special information for the February 6th class: You are strongly encouraged to pre-register so you don't miss the all day demonstration at Julann's Paulsbo studio. Half-day students are strongly encouraged to spend the full day with the class to see the demo start to finish (no extra charge, just the usual half day fee.)
Please read this information for attending on February 6th:
1. Students should walk on the 8:50 am ferry (Edmonds to Kingston).
2. Transportation is provided from the Kingston ferry to Julann's studio and back.
3. Don't bring painting gear, just a brown bag lunch and paper/pen for notes.
